Your new company
Hays are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing business in Dundee to support in their immediate Payroll Specialist requirement to support during a period of systems upgrade. This role is being offered on a daily rate agency contract for a period of six months for someone who is an experienced payroll professional with a willingness to operate in a standalone position.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be the main point of contact for full end to end monthly payroll processing with a reporting line into Finance and HR to provide accurate and timely management of the payroll. You will be expected to confidently collate and process payroll information, review for payment and be available to address any immediate queries both internal and external relating to pay. This role will require you to have an understanding of updated legislation as well as provide support to HR regarding paperwork associated with payroll tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be an experienced payroll professional who is comfortable working in a standalone position that is accountable for the full company's payroll on a monthly basis. You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, whilst dealing with sensitive information on a daily basis. Given the wider focus on a systems upgrade, you will need to be adaptable to changing processes and be tech savvy to support during the upgrade.
