Brand & Communications Manager

Whisper is looking for a dynamic Brand & Communications Manager to work directly with our newly appointed Chief Brand Officer at a pivotal and exciting moment in the brand’s journey - a new era of growth.

This role sits at the heart of how Whisper tells its story. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering always‑on communications, both internally and externally, through the creation of compelling, engaging content that drives brand awareness and commercial growth.

We’re looking for a brand‑savvy individual with a social‑first mindset who thrives on collaboration across teams and with world‑class partners.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a highly organised self‑starter who can manage projects end‑to‑end and consistently elevate the quality and impact of Whisper’s storytelling, from brand campaigns and case studies to highlighting our people and culture.

Key Responsibilities


Brand & Insight

* Act as a guardian of Whisper’s visual identity and tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
* Support brand governance and oversee marcomms insight and reporting
* Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices


Social & Digital

* Manage day‑to‑day brand storytelling across owned channels
* Deliver a social‑first content approach that drives engagement and reach


Content Creation & Production

* Produce high‑quality social and digital content using a range of media and formats
* Write press releases, articles, website copy, newsletters, and other communications materials


Media Relations

* Distribute press releases, manage media outreach and enquiries
* Build and maintain strong media relationships and contact databases
* Support the delivery of B2B engagement strategies across media and sport industries


Internal Communications

* Support clear, consistent internal communication across the organisation
* Manage internal channels, including newsletters and intranet platforms


Events & Awards

* Plan and coordinate events such as press conferences, internal events and industry conferences
* Deliver the awards entry strategy and manage high‑quality award entries

Skills and Experience


Skills And Abilities

* Strong creative judgement with an eye for storytelling, pacing, visuals and craft
* Experience in brand marketing or communications delivery
* Strong Communications Skills: Excellent and adaptable writing skills
* Experience in content creation across platforms using a range of tools and media formats.
* Proven ability to manage and grow social media platforms.
* Understanding of media relations and communication strategy.
* Strong analytical skills for monitoring and reporting campaign effectiveness.
* Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
* Confident communicator who can work with senior stakeholders and external partners
* Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, global environment
* Hands‑on mindset, happy to be on‑site, behind the scenes and in the thick of delivery when needed


Desirable Experience (not Essential)

* Experience in sport, entertainment, media or live events
* Strong understanding of multi‑platform delivery (social, digital, presentations, internal comms)
* Photography and/or filming capability


Location

The base for this position is Kew, London.


Working Days

Five‑day working week: four days in the office and one day working from home.

Flexibility may be required in line with production schedules.

Lieu days will be provided for any days worked beyond the standard week.

Flexitime is available, subject to production requirements.


Contract Type

Starting ASAP on a permanent contract
