Job Title: SEND Teacher - PMLD & Sensory Curriculum (short-term)
Area: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Monday 20th April 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: £1100 - £1500 per week (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teacher to work with students across KS1, KS2, supporting them to achieve their developmental milestones and EHCP outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with support staff, parents/carers, and other professionals to provide a consistent and holistic approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored PMLD & Sensory lessons
Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones
Work closely with support staff and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space where every student can thrive
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child's progress
To be eligible you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
