To support the Buyer to source, develop, buy and deliver a specific range of products at the right time
What you will do
* Manage key administrative duties for the Buying team from product concept to finished bought product.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with all suppliers and internal departments in line with critical path.
* Manage order raising process as required, with buyer’s approval.
* Organize and manage the sample process for the department in a timely manner.
* Oversee the sample sealing process, working closely with the garment tech team to meet critical path requirements.
* Manage the garment approval process to achieve a commercial, saleable product.
* Contribute to meeting preparations, including Monday Trade & Product Sign Offs.
* Fulfill general ad hoc duties as needed.
* Act as deputy for the buyer in their absence.
* Manage the critical path proactively, demonstrating problem-solving skills to meet deadlines.
* Contribute to the product lifecycle, including competitor shops, pre-trip planning, range building, product briefings, and lessons learned.
* Maintain a good understanding of market trends and customer profile, contributing knowledgeably to meetings.
* Conduct regular store visits, present findings, and follow through on actions.
