Retail Sunday Assistant (Workington) – Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
Contract: FTC until 31 January 2026. Hours: 6 – Sundays only. Location: Workington Shop. Salary: £12.21 per hour plus benefits. Reports to: Shop manager. Department: Trading.

What you will be doing
* Overseeing the running of the shop on a Sunday, including taking keyholder responsibility (training provided) and supporting a team of volunteers.
* Assisting the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and new stock.
* Generating ideas to help generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Using customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and valued.
* Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
* Performing a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity as part of day-to-day duties.
