Gloucestershire Core CAMHS are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, skilled, and supportive individual to provide additional team manager capacity to our core CAMHS teams.
Core CAMHS provide a range of mental health services to children and young people (0 to 18) in Gloucestershire. The service is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals offering assessments and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, emotional coping skills, and Family Therapy.
We are looking for someone who can nurture and develop our teams as we continue to offer high standards of assessment and treatment. We have made significant progress in reducing waiting times, making this an exciting time to join and help us develop our service.
As a Team Manager, you should have the clinical skills and knowledge to conduct CAMHS assessments and clinical risk assessments. You should also have experience in providing CAMHS-based mental health interventions. A current registered professional qualification in psychology, mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy is required.

The role includes operational and line management responsibilities such as:
* Supporting CAMHS staff to deliver effective clinical work
* Fostering a positive team culture and staff wellbeing
* Overseeing team performance and activity
* Managing caseloads with a focus on risk and safeguarding
* Ensuring governance, quality assurance, and reflective practice
* HR responsibilities including performance management and appraisals
* Updating staff job plans quarterly
* Planning and delivering service and quality improvements
* Leading CAMHS meetings to promote multidisciplinary collaboration
* Embedding routine outcome monitoring to demonstrate improvements
* Analyzing performance data for audit and evaluation
