Facilities Support Specialist - Site Focal (Fleet) Company: Boeing United Kingdom Limited We are seeking a Facilities Support Specialist- Site Focal to join our UK and Ireland team. This is a key role in a high profile, strategic Boeing facility and will lead on the following activities: Operations management and compliance, business support services and multiple delegated business activities such as Facilities & Asset Management, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection and Indirect Supply Chain Develops and sustains mutually beneficial with business partners, stakeholders and peers Investigates and provides guidance for employees on complex issues or concerns Manages facility operations, property planning and project administration, and facilities provisioning Responsible for site/entity compliance with local laws, Boeing policies and procedures, develops and manages the operating budget Leads teams to design, develop and implement organisational policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations (e.g., business preparedness, evacuation plan and crisis management, secure badge renewals) Monitors and partners with the procurement agent at the local site to manage the vendor activity (i.e. negotiations, vendor performance) Responsibilities: Overseeing International Facilities Management (IFM) contractor activities and partners with relevant internal organisations to evaluate IFM contractor proposals to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures Monitoring and coordinating project implementation activities to ensure cost, schedule and regulatory requirements are met Administering all site facilities including IFM contractor activities, Contractor Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMs), creates and issues IFM contractor permits for work ensuring safe IFM contractor induction in line with Boeing ‘Go 4 Zero’ policies/procedures and UK Health & Safety Law Providing cost/schedule visibility such as management and IFM contractor reviews to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures Identifying and develops acceptable, efficient and affordable solution options for business needs Ensuring comprehensive closeout and retention of project and contract files to provide an audit trail for Records Retention, Internal Audit, HMRC, Property Accounting, Legal and Facilities Implementing business requests for facilities management projects such as rearrangements, moves and asset acquisition Business reporting – Weekly and monthly metrics. Compilation and tracking of business data Management of owned and delegated budgets Supervising reception staff (where applicable) and ensures compliant site visitor processing and site inductions Supporting invoice management process Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives Required Skills and Experience: Facilities Management (FM) experience in an operational site, preferably in a Manufacturing environment Experience of managing PPM’s via an FM management tool Experience of working in a global corporation Experience of balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) essential, NEBOSH General Certificate - highly desirable Health & Safety knowledge and skills required (IOSH Risk Management, COSHH Assessments). EG. Risk assessments, Data sheets.
