As Chef de Partie, you’ll work with great ingredients, support menu execution, and take ownership of your section — ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail during every service. What You Bring We’re looking for a confident and capable section leader with passion and pride: ✨ Experience as CDP or strong Demi CDP – You understand kitchen flow and standards. ✨ A love for fresh, seasonal ingredients – You care about flavour, technique, and presentation. ✨ Section ownership – Able to manage prep, pace, and consistency. ✨ Calm and organised – Focused and efficient, even in a busy service. ✨ Team player – Supportive, collaborative, and communicative. ✨ Commitment to high standards – Hygiene, safety, and quality at all times. What You’ll Do As Chef de Partie at The Stag on the River, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining: Run your section confidently – Cook, plate, and time dishes to perfection. Prep ingredients – Ensure your section is fully ready for service. Maintain high standards – Consistent quality, flavour, and presentation. Manage stock rotation – Label, store, and monitor ingredients effectively. Ensure cleanliness – Keep your area safe, tidy, and compliant. ‍ Support the brigade – Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
