Location: Rotherham College and Dearne Valley College, Rotherham with offsite work across South Yorkshire

The role of the Team Leader: Work Based Learning - Construction (South Yorkshire) is to lead on the delivery of a range of apprenticeship standards within Construction and other provisions where required, in order to equip our learners with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training that inspires learners to achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and lead on the apprenticeship provision for the construction apprentices across Rotherham and Dearne Valley college campuses.
* Ensure that our apprentices receive a high-quality service and make excellent progress.
* Line manage staff within your area.
* Lead the quality assurance process for your subject specialism and oversee awarding body compliance for all other areas within your responsibility.
* Champion innovation in curriculum design through close alignment with employer needs.
Qualifications
* Experience of high‑quality assessing/teaching within apprenticeships and ideally in construction.
* Understanding how to sequence quality apprenticeship delivery and quality assurance to produce the best outcomes for apprentices.
* Understanding of FE and Apprenticeship Standards, and ability to coordinate and lead a team on programme design and delivery.
* Possession of a Level 3 or above in a vocationally relevant subject, an assessor’s award (TAQA/A1) is essential, and an IQA qualification is desirable; support to obtain this upon commencement will be considered.
* Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or be willing to undertake.
