Restaurant and Bar Manager – 4-Star Hotel
Location: Beautiful countryside location, with a great commute from London
Salary: £50,000 per annum + £5,000 service charge
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a highly regarded 4-star hotel, for the position of Restaurant and Bar Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to join a well-established venue offering excellent career development prospects.
About the Role
As Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will take full responsibility for the daily operation and management of the hotel’s restaurant and bar. You will lead and inspire a dedicated front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service standards, creating a welcoming and professional experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar operations
* Lead, train, and develop the front-of-house team
* Ensure outstanding guest service at all times
* Coordinate with the Head Chef and senior leadership on service and standards
* Maintain effective stock control and ordering procedures
* Manage rotas, staffing levels, and team performance
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a quality hotel or hospitality setting is essential
* Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
* A commitment to high standards of service and guest experience
* Commercial awareness with an ability to manage budgets and control costs
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* Must be able to reliably commute or relocate – excellent transport links from London
