Continuous Improvement Officer
Location: County Fermanagh
Pay Rate / Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus
Contract Type: Permanent
Shifts/Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am -, Fri 8am - 5pm
About the Role
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for the position of Continuous Improvement Officer
In this role, you will:
1. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business by championing the use of Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma across the site.
2. Work closely with all staff to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing programme of change.
3. Management of the site's Lean Tools and Techniques implementation; including, but not limited to the establishment and upkeep of 5S Housekeeping,
4. Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis, in line with company standards.
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to management and key personnel in the rollout projects.
6. Facilitate the development and implementation of new and innovative ways of working as part of a 'best in class' continuous improvement strategy.
7. Facilitate Lean/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions.
8. Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects

Key Requirements for the successful Continuous Improvement Officer
9. Essential to have a 3rd level qualification in Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline OR 5+ years relevant work experience.
10. Must have Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt qualification and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Tools such as DMAIC, Root Cause, Analysis, 5S AND Standard Work.
11. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Qualification and Project/Programme Management experience is desirable.
12. Must have 2+ years' experience implementing Lean
13. Strong attention to detail, project management and planning skills.
14. Effective leadership and communication skills
15. Strong problem-solving skills
