Job Title: Driver/Admin Assistant (ADR Specialist Courier)
We are a specialist courier company providing critical logistic services, including the secure transport of hazardous and time-sensitive goods. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Driver/Admin Assistant to join our team at our new St. Ives, Cambridgeshire office.
This is a varied role that combines professional driving duties with office-based administration support. Full training will be provided, including specialist ADR (hazardous goods) training and the use of our bespoke booking software.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out dedicated courier driving duties (early starts required, approx. 06:00 hrs)
* Supporting the office team with administration tasks, including answering the phones, booking deliveries and general office duties.
* Assisting with basic bookkeeping (experience welcome but not essential)
* maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
Requirements.
* Full clean driving licence held for at least five years
* Minimum age 25 (for insurance purposes).
* Strong communication and IT skills.
* Professional, dependable, and and safety-conscious.
* No drink or drug-related driving convictions
* Previous logistics industry knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.
