HR Business Partner – International Focus
We’re looking for a commercially minded and experienced HR Business Partner to join our growing business. This is a varied, hands-on generalist role where you’ll work closely with managers and senior leaders to deliver practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable operating strategically and operationally, building strong relationships across the business while helping drive people-focused initiatives that support performance and growth.
Experience supporting international teams or working across multiple countries and cultures would be highly advantageous.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering effective people solutions, coaching managers, and ensuring HR processes are consistent, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Partnering with managers across the business to provide expert HR advice and day-to-day support
* Managing employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management
* Advising on employment law, HR policies, and best practice
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development
* Assisting with organisational change, restructures, and workforce planning initiatives
* Promoting employee engagement and contributing to a positive company culture
* Supporting HR activity across international teams and regions
* Reviewing and improving HR policies, procedures, and processes
* Supporting learning and development initiatives across the business
* Producing HR reports, insights, and management information as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in an internaional HR Business Partner or standalone HR Manager role
* A strong generalist HR background within a fast-paced commercial environment
* A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills
* Confidence managing employee relations casework independently
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* A good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
* CIPD qualification (or currently working towards it)
* Experience supporting international teams or overseas operations
* The ability to balance operational HR delivery with strategic business support
