Responsibilities
Our UK agency is seeking a Mechanical Equipment Engineer to support piping and valves calculations on the SZC and HPC projects in Bristol on a permanent contract basis. Responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating activities during tendering phases
2. Organizing and leading progress and technical meetings
3. Reporting internally and to clients on progress, risks, and issues
4. Managing design risks and variations
5. Handling interfaces with contractors, clients, and stakeholders
6. Coordinating Configuration Management activities
7. Resolving technical problems and queries
Background and Skills Required
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Master’s degree in Engineering or Scientific Discipline
* Contract management and documentary surveillance expertise
* Knowledge of Equipment interfaces and Nuclear Mechanical Equipment Design
* Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Desirable qualifications and experiences:
* Experience with SZC or HPC projects
* Knowledge of nuclear sector and equipment contracts
* Project management qualification and/or experience
