Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and development? A welcoming primary school is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, term-time only basis.
This role is perfect for someone with childcare experience who is enthusiastic, patient, and keen to make a positive impact in the classroom.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school. You may be working in a general classroom support role or providing 1:1 support for children who need additional help.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
* Assisting pupils with their learning, ensuring they are engaged and progressing
* Offering 1:1 support where required
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Supporting behaviour management and pastoral needs
* Preparing learning materials and resources
Requirements
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, childcare, youth work, or similar)
* A warm, nurturing, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
* Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
