Role Summary We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Administrator to join our team at the Redhill, UK site. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality IT desktop support across all EMEA locations, ensuring smooth IT operations and enhancing user experience and productivity throughout the region. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software. Collaborate with IT colleagues to implement new technologies and system upgrades. Provide remote support to users across multiple EMEA sites. Ensure continuous desktop support availability to enable uninterrupted user productivity. Actively contribute to team discussions and knowledge sharing. Assist in developing IT solutions aligned with business goals. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and processes. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in desktop support. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write clear and concise work instructions. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in a customer support environment. Positive and professional attitude. Highly motivated and results-driven. Preferred Qualifications: CompTIA A or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11. Experience in network troubleshooting and basic configuration. Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and techniques. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and cloud-based applications. Networking knowledge relevant to desktop support. Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile platforms. Note: This role is based in Redhill, UK, and will require occasional travel to other EMEA sites.
