Accountabilities
The role involves working with clients and audit partners to assist in planning, executing, and finalizing all aspects of the audit assignment, ready for partner review. The position is primarily based at the client’s premises. You will need to identify and understand client needs, suggest solutions on technical matters, communicate these with the client and audit partners, and agree on implementation. You will engage actively with senior client staff to understand their business and ensure efficient audit execution. Responsibilities also include monitoring progress against the budget and informing the manager of any cost variances. Supervising and coaching junior team members at client sites and in the office is part of the role. Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including audit methodology and risk management processes, is essential.
