About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Practitioner; with Turning Point Scotland, no two days are the same. The role includes the following responsibilities:
* Helping to provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on a 1:1 basis or alongside others as part of a team.
* Supporting individuals within the community and engaging with their hobbies and interests, empowering individuals to develop skills and independence.
* Attending various community groups and accompanying service users to activities they enjoy, including cinema, swimming, local groups or projects, and holidays or trips away.
* Assisting with personal care, ensuring comfort and wellbeing.
* Celebrating achievements and milestones to create a rewarding and positive environment.
About You
You will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people to live their best lives. You will be supported by an approachable management team, allowing you to expand your knowledge while developing new skills. Flexibility to work on a rota is required.
No previous working experience is needed. Full training will be provided on supporting people with complex needs, including the "New to Forensic" training programme and forensic e-learning.

About Us – North Lanarkshire
The North Lanarkshire service predominantly provides self-directed support, allowing individuals to have and use their own budgets to help people with a variety of needs including physical and/or learning disabilities and mental health conditions. We also support people who may have complex support needs and/or forensic histories.
Where there is a requirement for sleepover shifts, you will receive a separate sleepover payment of £96.00 for every sleepover shift you work!
