Nightshift Support Worker – Mulhern Close, Omagh
Join Inspire to provide hands-on care and emotional support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs on the night shift.
As a Nightshift Support Worker at our Mulhern Close service in Omagh, you’ll be at the heart of Inspire’s mission to help people live healthy, meaningful lives filled with purpose and connection.
Responsibilities
* Personal care, including showering, bathing, changing, and toileting
* Practical care such as feeding support, assistance with drinks and medication
* Daily living tasks including laundry, cleaning, general house maintenance, and completing daily notes
* Relationship-building by providing emotional support and helping to create a calm, homely environment
* Behavioural support, including personal safety techniques where required and working in line with individual risk assessments

* Compassionate, resilient individuals who can work calmly and confidently in a setting that may involve behaviours that challenge
* Ability to follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to keep everyone safe
* Ability to provide practical care with warmth, kindness and dignity
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong relationship-building skills with the people we support
You don’t need previous experience; the right values and a commitment to making a difference are essential.
Training and Support
All new staff receive full training on personal care and positive behaviour support, including how to safely use personal safety techniques in line with our organisational training.
