Job Description
A permanent Deputy Home Manager post has become available in a luxury nursing home in Sudbury that specialises in elderly care.
* £50,000 per annum
* Must be RGN or RMN with NMC PIN
* 40 hours per week
* Nursing, dementia and residential care to the elderly

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the home's frail elderly residents, some of whom may suffer with dementia.
* Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers and help ensure the smooth running of the nursing home.
* Work autonomously and independently while building strong relationships with management and care staff.
* Maintain and assess the home's high quality care.
* Organise and motivate the carers to ensure excellent standards of care are delivered.
* Assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff.
* Help to uphold the home's reputation as a recognised centre of excellence.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills
* Qualified nurse – RGN or RMN – registered with the NMC.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience in a Deputy Manager role (essential).
* Minimum 5 years hands‑on nursing experience.
* Passion for elderly / dementia care.
