You will have the opportunity to cross train in various departments while performing a wide range of duties to support our engineering, manufacturing, assembly, quality, material handling and packaging operations.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble custom products to meet the needs of our worldwide customersLearn our inventory management system and enter materials transactionsPerform light electrical and mechanical assembly operationsWork with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer ordersWork with material handling equipment to transport materialsCommunication status of operation and improvements in a timely manner to leadersWork in a team environment to implement improvement ideasUtilize the computer-based system to enter inventory and production transactionsUtilizes continuous improvements and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.Maintain safe and clean work environment by adhering to established policies and proceduresExecute production schedules and highlight issues for quality and output improvementQualificationsExperience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Knowledge of BOMs, work orders, serialization, and custom manufacturing processes.Experience working with barcode systems and label printing.Flexibility to work overtime as neededCapability to lift and move boxes of product up to 20kgAbility to stand for an extended period of timeAbility to move to surrounding workstationsAbility to read and follow work instructions in EnglishAbility for continuous learningLutron Electronics’ position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
