The post-holder will be responsible for general catering, cleaning and deep cleaning as required on the premises in accordance with contract standards, under the direction of the Soft Services Manager. They will carry out catering, cleaning and laundry duties safely and work as an effective team member with limited disruption to the client. This role also includes relief cover for Bellrock On Site staff, including Porter.

As a Hotel Services Assistant with Bellrock, you’ll contribute by upholding safety and service excellence.
Safety, Health, And Environment
* To work in a safe and healthy manner for Bellrock personnel, client personnel, other contractors, visitors and members of the public.
* To ensure that statutory requirements, codes of practice and procedures relating to Health and Safety at Work and any other relevant enhancements are met in full.
* To correctly wear the personal protective equipment supplied in designated areas.
* To maintain and be responsible for the safe use and storage of all cleaning / catering materials and equipment.
* To report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the Supervisor / Manager with minimum delay.
* To display appropriate signage to ensure occupants are aware of health and safety considerations during cleaning operations.
Operational
* Ensure correct equipment use and adherence to colour-coding policy.
* Undertake regular inspections of departmental equipment and report on condition or damage.
* Duties may include cleaning, catering service, laundry, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, buffing, waste disposal, polishing, and dusting in designated areas with appropriate training.
* May be required to undertake other duties reasonably within the scope of the post.
Financial
* Ensure the correct and efficient use of relevant equipment, supplies and materials.

* Promote the Company name through everyday working practices.

Additional Duties – Site Specific
* Emergency cover
* Additional working duties
* Ensuring cleaning specification standards are met
* Providing catering support in wards as required
* Carpet shampooing as required
* Curtain cleaning as required
* Cleaning and buffing of communal areas
What does it take?

Working arrangements
Smarter working practices apply; you may work flexibly where role and business need allow. In this role, the successful candidate would work from Dundee, Saturday and Sunday 07:00–15:30.
