We are currently recruiting for an experienced AAT Lecturer to join one of our supporting Colleges in the North East. The role will for 2 days per week, Tuesday and Wednesday and supporting L2 - L3.
What you'll be doing:
* Plan and deliver engaging AAT lessons across relevant levels
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with awarding body requirements
* Support learners in developing practical accounting skills and exam readiness
* Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to enhance learner outcomes
About You
* AAT qualification (Level 3 or above) or a degree in Accounting/Finance
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) – desirable
* Experience delivering AAT or accounting within an FE college or training provider
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Passionate about supporting and motivating learners in a vocational setting
Desirable:
* Experience teaching across multiple AAT levels
* Familiarity with AAT assessment methods and standards
* Experience supporting learners with additional needs
