Join AmcoGiffen as a Project Administrator. This role offers an opportunity to support a dynamic project team while taking on document control responsibilities for various high-profile infrastructure projects across the North West region.

The Role
Work with the regional project team, including senior management, on a portfolio of works throughout the region. Duties include arranging meetings, producing minutes, compiling project packs, chasing documentation from designers/clients, and uploading to the EB document control system for controlled transmission and receipt of all documentation to and from Network Rail.
Responsibilities
* Organisation of project / engineering associated documents.
* Coordinate with different departments to ensure documents are kept in the right location and accessible to internal services.
* Work to strict deadlines and ensure consistent document control procedures across departments.
* Assist with categorising documents, checking and approving content, and liaising with internal and external parties to ensure accurate information.
* Issue project documentation in line with Network Rail requirements for Project Wise & EB software.
* Collate information from site teams for timely weekly submissions.
* Update internal systems as required.
* Perform general administrative duties (stationery ordering, copying drawings, CDs, photocopying).
* Any other administrative duties as deemed appropriate by the region and line manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in administration within a construction/civil engineering and/or rail environment.
* Prior document control experience is beneficial but these skills can be taught.
* Good keyboard/PC skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
* Good attention to detail and a professional telephone manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident decision maker and problem solver.
* Good planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to liaise with managers to resolve issues.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Efficient analysis and resolution of administration problems.
* Strong reporting skills.
