GVA Search is proud to be partnering a dynamic, fast-growing international FMCG company in Hampshire who is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Interim FP&A Manager (6-month FTC) to ensure effective management of the P&L, Working Capital and Capital Expenditure and minimise financial surprises - delivery of high quality, accurate and insightful financial reporting of International Market’s short -term results and longer terms plans, providing in-depth financial planning and analysis. Key Responsibilities include: Responsible for the quarterly forecasting and budgeting process to meet group reporting requirements and timelines. Support and guidance to the RMs in the preparation of their P&Ls, championing improvements in forecast accuracy Managing the forecasting of IM’s non -market specific overheads with an emphasis on active cost management. Managing data integrity issues arising during forecast preparation Preparation of IM UK Balance Sheet, ensuring accrual/provision releases are accurately built in and understanding variances. Lead the interaction with other areas of the business such as Supply Chain Support the Financial Controller in the process of consolidation and critical analytical review, ensuring the end result meets expectations. Responsible for the p reparation and reporting of IM UK’s and Total IM’s Working Capital Performance Support the Financial Controller to embed a robust control framework across all of IM Responsible for the preparation and reporting of P&L performance each period, to include: Maintaining the process for the collection and analysis of required data from a variety of sources, continually seeking areas for improvement Analysis of key commercial drivers of performance including driving out PVM variances, investigating and holding Regional Managers (RMs) accountable for sales, A&P and overhead variances (coaching as necessary), incorporating into The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years post-qualification experience, ideally in FMCG or Big 4. Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and performance management within a global, multi-market environment. You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will be proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with a preference for SAP, SAP BI, and Power BI. You will have a collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and work across different cultures.
