Paraplanner
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: Berkhamsted (Hybrid working)
Hours: Full-Time, hours per week, Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 5:30pm
We’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established financial services firm based in Berkhamsted.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft Suitability Reports (New Money, Fund Switches, Pension Transfers, etc.)
2. Conduct financial product research using tools like FE Analytics, Cashcalc, and Defaqto
3. Manage new business submissions and complete data entry tasks
4. Prepare meeting documentation and assist advisers in client communications
5. Act as a point of contact for clients and providers when advisers are unavailable
6. Ensure adherence to compliance standards in all activities
7. Maintain CRM systems (, XPlan, Intelligent Office)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Essential:
8. 2+ years' experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role within the financial services sector
9. GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above)
10. Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
11. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
12. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
13. Ability to analyse and interpret numerical data
Desirable:
14. CII Level 4 Diploma or working towards it (R01-R06)
15. Familiarity with XPlan, Intelligent Office, or similar CRM systems
16. Experience in an IFA environment
