An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the finance and performance team in the Commercial Management. The role is primarily concerned with providing finance and performance assurance to the 13 major contracts managed by the service and will require the post holder to engage with suppliers on finance and performance related matters You will have responsibility for ensuring contract payments are made in line with the conditions of contract and in line with finance and contract procedure rules. A key part of the role is also concerned with the dynamic reporting of contractual performance information. We are looking for a detail oriented, organised person with experience in performance management processes and reporting. You will need to be able to consistently meet deadlines and have strong working knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Excel and Unit 4 ERP. An ideal candidate for the role would be currently undertaking or interested in completing the Multiverse Data apprenticeship programme currently supported by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
