This position sits within a specialist finance function supporting the organisation's international operations, particularly across North America. The role offers exposure to a dynamic, evolving environment where you will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in supporting new market launches and strengthening financial reporting frameworks.
Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of key financial reporting and compliance processes across a number of international territories, ensuring financial obligations are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing financial reporting requirements across assigned international territories
* Supporting the financial setup and reporting frameworks for newly launched markets
* Preparing and reviewing complex reconciliations and analysing large datasets
* Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure reporting accuracy
* Coordinating external reviews and audits where required
* Developing and strengthening internal controls and reporting processes
* Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members within the wider team
Profile
* The ideal candidate must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
* This role would suit a 1st time mover with a super inquisitive personality or someone qualified in industry who has experience working with complex reconciliations and large volumes of financial data
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
* Experience of working in a heavily regulated environment would be advantageous
Job Offer
* A competitive salary ranging from £48,000 to £51,000 per annum.
* Annual bonus up to 10%
* Pension contribution matched at 7.5%
* Hybrid working with 3 days in office, 2 at home
