The Role
We're looking for a motivated PC Builder & 2nd Line Support Engineer to join us on a freelance zero hour contract basis with the opportunity to grow the hours/role as we expand the business. Based on-site, you'll combine hands-on hardware builds with customer-facing IT support.
This role is ideal for someone proactive, adaptable, looking for flexi working hours, and ready to get stuck in with a growing tech company.
What You'll Do
· Build, configure, and test computers.
* Install equipment into data centre racks.
* Image operating systems, install software, and optimise configurations.
* Provide 2nd line support for escalated IT issues.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software faults quickly and effectively.
* Communicate with clients professionally via email and ticketing systems.
* Manage stock inventory.
* Support wider technical and logistical operations as needed — flexibility is essential.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in PC building and configuration.
* Background in 2nd line IT support.
* Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.
* Clear, professional written communication (client-facing emails).
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup/scale-up environment.
