This is a varied and active role which includes: predominantly carrying out warehouse duties (65%), serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone (30%), and occasionally delivery driving (5% / if qualified - not essential) If you like having lots of variety in your daily tasks, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for! If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants, builders' merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you! As our Branch Assistant, you'll be: Predominantly delivering plumbing and heating products to our trades customers in the local area. Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping. Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries. Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery. Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods. Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch. Processing quotes. Ideally, you are: Capable of working in what can sometimes be a physically challenging role. An enthusiastic team player wanting to make a positive contribution.
