Job summary
The post offers two part-time roles: one in the North of the county (minimum 7.5 hrs) and one in the South (minimum 15 hrs), totaling 29.5 hours. Are you a psychologist seeking a role within a community team delivering care centered around psychological interventions? The Worcestershire Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIS) seeks an enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to support individuals experiencing or at risk of a first episode of psychosis.
Main duties of the job
* Lead development and delivery of Psychological Therapies within the service, providing supervision and guidance to psychological therapists.
* Promote psychological thinking within the team through consultancy and offering training.
* Conduct or support research, audits, and service development activities.
* Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, interventions, and outcome evaluations for clients with complex mental health needs.

Person Specification

* Qualifications: BSc/BA in Psychology, Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, HCPC registration, and eligibility for BPS Chartered status.
* Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant experience, leadership in psychological interventions, research, and multidisciplinary working.
* Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and teaching abilities, with a positive attitude and ability to handle complex situations.
Additional requirements
* Ability to meet travel requirements.
* Willingness to seek support when needed and manage change effectively.
Legal and registration requirements
