Payroll Manager | Temp to Permanent
Hayes, Middlesex (Hybrid – 4 days office / 1 day WFH)
30 hours per week, Monday–Friday
We're recruiting a Payroll Manager to join a growing UK business on a temp-to-permanent basis. This is a hands-on role with full ownership of payroll, working closely with HR and Finance.
Ideal for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys autonomy, accuracy, and being the go-to person for all payroll matters.
What you'll be doing
End-to-end processing of two monthly payrolls, including BACS submissions
Managing payroll data, calculations, and reporting
Handling payroll queries from employees and managers
Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
Liaising with HMRC and supporting payroll audits
Preparing P11D, P60 and P45 documentation
Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times
What we're looking for
Essential: Previous Workday payroll experience
Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Proactive, solutions-focused, and a clear communicator
