Job Summary

About the Challenge
We are building a new dynamic, scalable, software‑defined, automated solution for managed networks and boundary controls in the LBG data centres. The objective is to redesign our current network with automated, secure, and application‑centric capabilities that support the Software Defined Data Centre vision.
Responsibilities
* Build and lead a new solution that enables managed networks and boundary controls within LBG data centres.
* Redesign the current network to improve automation, manageability, security, and application focus.
* Drive delivery and operational capabilities using DevOps principles and technologies.
* Foster a 'can‑do' mindset, learning new skills on the job and tackling challenges.
* Transform the Software Defined Data Centre idea from proof of concept into a fully integrated and managed service.
Key Qualifications
* Technical experience with Cisco Data Centre architecture and design.
* Hands‑on experience deploying and operating advanced Cisco infrastructure via automation.
* A modern engineering background using the latest tools and techniques.
* Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ansible.
* Experience with Terraform and cloud‑native provisioning templates.
* Knowledge of software‑defined, application‑centric networking using spine and leaf architecture.
* Understanding of modern networking components.
* Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence, ServiceNow (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
* Knowledge of integrating Checkpoint Firewalls and F5 services onto Cisco ACI.
