At Exbourne Cross Garage, we don't just fix cars, we care about our customers.
An exciting brand new position is opening up and we are after someone who's quick on their feet, calm under pressure, and genuinely cares about doing a good job alongside our Workshop Manager in providing our customers with excellent customer service.
You'll be one of two people at the front desk, working to serve our customers and schedule work in, answer calls and book in vehicle services, MOTs and repairs.
If you have a genuine warmth to make every customer feel welcome, you'll fit right in.
The ideal candidate will:
* Give every customer excellent customer service, from the first call to when they drive off.
* Effectively communicate with the team, technicians and customers.
* Helping to deliver a high level of customer service that builds loyalty and keeps customers coming back.
We would like you to:
* Have Customer Service experience, whether it's from hospitality, retail, or the motor trade, if you know how to look after people, we want to hear from you
* Demonstrate a calm personality, friendly, approachable and the confidence to keep things running smoothly.
* You have a positive mindset, you don't just solve problems, you make every interaction count and make sure people feel looked after
* Be able to diary and time manage between tasks from scheduling in jobs, answering workshop calls and serving customers as they drop off and collect their vehicle - training will be provided.
* Be proficient in raising computerised tasks and invoices, training will be provided where required and necessary.
* Show you're able to manage the garage workflow and maintain the workshop diary.
In the role we need
* Attention to detail from booking in workshop and MOT work, customer names, addresses, vehicle and booking details etc
* Customer service where going the extra mile is key to our success.
* Clear spoken level of English
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
