Responsibilities: We assess the confidentiality, integrity, significance, and availability of information and assets within our LCST supply chain. We determine the necessary levels of security based on requirements, policy, and threat to support secure operations. We review our supply chain to identify key risks related to loss, disruption, damage, or destruction of materials and services. We assess the effectiveness of supplier security controls in mitigating supply chain risks. We follow MOD policy to ensure compliance with HMG Supply Chain Security Standards. We work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Head of Cyber & IS Security and the Contracts Management team, to ensure supplier contracts include the required controls and standards. We collaborate with our Quality team to regularly assure supplier activities and confirm standards are appropriate and consistently met. We educate, raise awareness, and support suppliers regarding their security responsibilities. We travel to supplier sites for assurance visits and audits as required. We oversee the delivery and assurance of supply chain security measures across our network of suppliers. We provide regular reports to the LCST Programme Security Manager and guidance on supply chain security policies, best practices, and risk assessment. We develop, review, and update supply chain security policies and procedures. We support the LCST Programme Security Manager by addressing supplier-related security incidents and conducting security investigations. We direct the flow down of Security Aspects Letters and security requirements across contracts. We conduct security risk assessments of potential suppliers and establish appropriate mitigation measures and compliant working practices. We implement and maintain the latest MOD Cyber Security Model for each contract and participate in the MOD-led Cyber Security Working Group. We lead assurance reviews and visits to identify and manage risks and promote security awareness throughout the supply chain. We maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the supply chain.
