We are recruiting an interesting and varied Accounts Assistant opportunity for a small but growing accountancy Practice in the Dunfermline area. To be considered, you MUST have UK accountancy Practice experience to include working with owner-managed and small business clients (e.g. FRS 102 for small companies and FRS 105 for micro-entities). We are looking for someone with an appropriate background. This will suit an AAT 2 / 3. This is an office-based role. You should currently live within reasonable travel distance of Dunfermline. You must have the right to work in the UK. There is no sponsorship or visa support for this job. As part of a warm, friendly and supportive team, you’ll provide support to a qualified Accountant, part qualified Accountant, and Partner on a variety of client accounts. To be considered, you will need 3 or 4 years’ experience of Data processing / input and verification of data Sales and purchase ledgers Invoice, cash and bank reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of P&Ls Self assessments Helping prepare final accounts Assisting with the preparation of payroll runs Making enquiries with HMRC Ad hoc reporting Excel spreadsheets Use of Xero Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
