What you'll do
* Develop and maintain software, firmware, and databases using a variety of tools and languages.
* Ensure timely delivery of software projects that meet objectives and timescales.
* Assist with machine issues during build and test phases.
* Provide second-line support for our worldwide network of field service engineers.
* Engage with our global customer base to understand their needs and support new software implementations.

Education / experience
* Degree level qualification in computing or a related field with a proven track record.
* Minimum two years of experience in software development.
* Proficiency in C# .NET Core and the WPF framework.
* Experience in C and C++ for low‑level and real‑time development.
Desirable
* Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus, etc.
* Experience with PLCs and ladder logic.
* Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
* Familiarity with electrical and mechanical drawings.
* Experience writing PowerShell scripts.
* Exposure to machine learning and other forms of AI.
Professional skills / abilities
* Strong communication and client‑facing skills, capable of articulating complex topics to multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Self‑motivated and capable of independently driving technical investigations and finding solutions.
* In‑depth knowledge of Windows software and experience working on real‑time control systems.
* Knowledge of hardware interfacing is also desirable.
* Computer literacy and effective use of the MS Office suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
