Our client, a recognised leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated and strategic Group Head of Sales / General Sales Manager to lead their sales operations, drive profitability, and maximise customer satisfaction within a dynamic dealership environment.

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to boost profitability and expand market share
Foster a positive working culture that emphasises accountability and continuous improvement
Oversee all sales functions, including retail, finance, and administrative activities
Ensure adherence to industry regulations and manufacturer requirements
Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for development
Collaborate closely with senior management to support the dealership’s growth plans
Deliver excellent customer experiences to promote loyalty and repeat businessRequirements:
Significant senior sales management experience within the motor trade, ideally over five years
Proven track record as a General Sales Manager or General Manager within a franchised dealership
Strong leadership skills with the capability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of automotive retail processes and customer service excellence
