About the Role
£66,980 as a basic salary + Car / Car Allowance + up to 20% Bonus + BenefitsBased at Maidenhead - but is a National role. What will I be doing?
Manage, coach and develop a team of five bid writers. Allocate workload, set standards, perform quality reviews, and embed continuous improvement (lessons learnt, client feedback, post‑award reviews)Establish, maintain and continually improve the national bid library (people, process, tools), keeping content current, accurate and on‑brand (method statements, case studies, pricing narratives, ESG/social value propositions)What are the requirements?
Working knowledge of the I&C waste value chain including collections processing and disposal.Understands bid management and evaluation methodologies, governance thresholds and approval processes.Knowledge of social value, circular economy, sustainability and decarbonisation themes and can evidence them credibly in proposals.Hands-on leadership, stepping into critical bids while coaching the team to higher standards.Who we are
