Be the Backbone of Student Success – Support, Organise, Deliver
We're looking for a organised and proactive admin workers who can be the first port of call in our front facing reception area.
This is a supply adhoc position for those who are able to support in our Ashford College, however we're also looking for workers who can go to any of our college sites as and when needed.
This role is initially covering permanent members of staff, so could suit someone who is interested in flexible working. More than 50% of our supply workers gain permanent employment, so this could also be a great starting point on your career journey.
This varied and vital role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the college, supporting key services that keep everything running smoothly for staff and students alike.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing efficient and effective administrative support across a range of college services
* Assisting with student applications, enrolments, exams, and enquiries using our data systems
* Supporting the smooth running of the Service Help Desk
* Coordinating bookings

About You
As a vital part of our frontline support team, you'll handle a wide range of responsibilities and work with staff, students, and external stakeholders, so strong communication and exceptional customer service skills are a must.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Responding to calls, queries, and visitors while managing ongoing administrative tasks
* Supporting the reception function and ensuring a professional, welcoming environment
* Contributing to key college operations.
* Working to tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
