Account Manager - OLE Experience
Location: South of England
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Company Car
OLE | Rail | Site to Strategy | Progression
Navartis are sourcing for an account manager for one of the UK's top OLE suppliers. You're confident on site. You know your way around an OLE possession. And now, you're ready to step away from the orange, and into a role that gives you more autonomy, less days in the rain, long-term client relationships - and weekends back.
It's a well-established rail business working with Tier 1s across the south of England. They deliver OLE and wider electrification works across rail infrastructure, and they need someone who can speak the language.
Someone who knows the realities of site delivery - and how to build trust with clients because of it.
The Key Duties of the OLE Account Manager:
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of key clients across rail electrification
- Managing OLE projects from early-stage conversations to final handover
- Working alongside estimators and delivery teams to ensure cost, time and quality targets are met
- Identifying commercial opportunities and long-term partnerships across CP7 and beyond
- Seeking new business opportunities whilst ensuring existing clients are serviced
- Regular client visits/teams meetings being booked
- Ensuring delivery updates are being clearly communicated
- Being clear, transparent and upfront with client should issues arise, offering targeted solutions.
Experience Required for the OLE Account Manager:
- 5-10 years in the rail industry, ideally with direct OLE or electrification experience
- A solid understanding of Network Rail standards and working practices
- Confidence in client meetings, site walkouts, and technical discussions
- A UK driving licence - and comfort travelling to sites across the South
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & SAP Reporting systems.
Desirable knowledge, skills & experience for this OLE Account Manager role are:
- Hungry to be successful in a new role with a passion for rail delivery
- Experience as a CRE, COSS or Site Manager
- Able to develop business strategies
- A team player who understands the importance of individual & group targets
- Self motivated able to function autonomously
You'll be joining a collaborative team with a strong pipeline, clear values, and room to grow. And you won't be doing night shifts or weekend possessions every week.
