* Location: Watford
* Salary: £150 – £210 per day (based on experience)
* Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
* Start Date: September 2025
Responsibilities
* Teach dynamic and engaging DT lessons that spark creativity
* Promote hands-on learning through varied design and manufacturing projects
* Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Manage and maintain workshop tools, materials, and equipment
* Work collaboratively within the DT department to enhance curriculum delivery
* Participate in wider school activities and staff responsibilities
Qualifications
* QTS or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
* Experience teaching DT at secondary level
* Strong understanding of the DT curriculum and workshop safety
* Creative and practical teaching approach
* Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
