About the Delivery Driver role: In this varied role you’ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in Redruth, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You’ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries in the West Cornwall area to various customers. You’ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road. Once settled into the role you’ll also get the chance to get involved with inventory management. We have vending machines located at many of our customer sites and you’ll get involved with taking stock of inventory levels of engineering consumables, tools and PPE within, and restock where needed. Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00 – 17:00 to begin with, changing to 07:30 – 16:30 once settled in the role. What we're looking for in our Delivery Driver: Full, clean UK driving licence (our Hayley Dexis branded delivery vans are manual) Previous experience in a delivery driver role A good knowledge of the local, geographical area A keen eye for health & safety awareness Ability to be flexible and adaptable Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry.
