Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our Echo team at InHealth. This role covers our clinics in North London (Islington, Edmonton, Enfield, Waterloo, Golders Green). You may work across different sites, but you will be based at the same clinic for the full day. InHealth is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care, and the Chief Cardiac Physiologist will support service delivery and professional development within the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Perform and report adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards using the latest equipment and software.
* Provide expert support to peers through the second-opinion rota, upholding clinical best practice.
* Mentor trainee physiologists and support their development.
* Get involved in clinical audits to drive service quality and influence future improvements.
* Ensure equipment is well maintained with regular quality assurance checks.
* Support urgent clinical referrals through clear, professional communication with GPs and hospital teams.
* Help keep patient systems up to date and assist with bookings as needed.
You’ll work at one North London clinic per day (you won’t move between locations during the day), allowing focus on delivering excellent care.
What We’re Looking For
* BSE accreditation (or equivalent) with strong experience in adult transthoracic echo
* A confident, independent reporter with a patient-first mindset
* Skilled in working within BSE guidelines and committed to quality and safety
* A natural mentor with a desire to share knowledge and grow the next generation of cardiac physiologists
* A team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Up-to-date on Information Governance, Data Protection, and Caldicott Principles
