Role Overview: As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across all Key Stages, fostering a love for Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics. You will guide pupils through practical experiments, scientific inquiry, and real-world applications, helping them build strong foundations for exams and beyond. Your Responsibilities as a Science Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured science lessons in line with the national curriculum. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND. Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment during both practical and theoretical lessons. Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted interventions. Contribute to the school’s science department with enthusiasm and teamwork. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement. Candidate Requirements for Science Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Specialist knowledge in one or more scientific disciplines. Proven experience teaching Science at key stages. Strong subject knowledge and passion for science education. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
