Welder Fabricator / Permanent / Fakenham / Salary from £35,000 up to £50,000 per annum
Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a well-established company renowned for its high standards and quality craftsmanship. The business works with a variety of commercial clients and is looking to expand its team due to increased demand.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30?am 4:00?pm
Friday: 7:30?am 2:30?pm
Breaks:
15-minute paid break daily
30-minute unpaid lunch break
For shifts extending past 4:00?pm, an additional 15-minute paid break at 5:00?pm
Overtime:
Payable for hours worked over 39 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out welding using MIG and TIG; MMA welding is desirable
Fabricate and assemble components to a high standard using a variety of steel and other materials
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
Work collaboratively within a small, skilled workshop team
Ensure quality control and maintain high standards in all fabricated work
Assist in maintaining workshop equipment and tools in good working order
Support workshop schedules to meet project deadlines, including occasional overtime when required
Welder Fabricator Requirements:
Proven experience in welding and fabrication
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding is required; knowledge of MMA welding is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under supervision
