Job Overview
We are hiring a Finance Governance and Risk Manager responsible for developing and supporting the finance risk and compliance framework. The role involves reviewing and challenging the Finance Leadership team to ensure risks are effectively managed, measured, and controlled. You will also provide strategic and operational support to the CFO and finance team, ensuring the successful implementation of key projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a model of business support to optimize the CFO’s resources and project delivery.
2. Identify key business issues, monitor actions, and prepare professional reports and presentations for various audiences including the Executive Team and Board.
3. Manage risk reviews, monitor risks against appetite, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
4. Support risk management activities, including policy alignment, change impact assessment, and industry best practices.
5. Lead strategic planning, project management, and contribute to continuous improvement within the finance team.
Required Skills and Experience
* At least 3+ years of experience in business administration, project management, consulting, or related fields.
* Experience in governance or risk roles.
* Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Ability to make informed decisions and understand business challenges.
* Knowledge of regulatory landscape, macroeconomic factors, and risk management techniques.
