Overview

Following a service restructure and the appointment of a new post: Principal Renal Pharmacist (Consultant Renal Pharmacist progression post), there is now an exciting opportunity to join the renal pharmacy service as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the renal pharmacy team and work with the Principal Renal Pharmacist to develop the service over the coming years in a rapidly evolving clinical climate.


Responsibilities

* Provide an advanced clinical service to the renal wards.
* Assist the Principal Renal Pharmacist to provide leadership to the sub specialities of nephrology, including haemodialysis, vasculitis and tubulopathies.


Qualifications and Experience

* Experienced and highly motivated individual; ideally holds an independent prescribing qualification, but we would be open to supporting candidates through this within the first 12 months of the post.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full-time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. If you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer a full-time permanent contract unless you have: a) applied for a Graduate visa; b) completed your course and applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date; or c) the Trust has agreed to sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date.

For NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough-based roles, applicants at risk of redundancy will be prioritised, but interviews cannot be guaranteed.

This vacancy will close at midnight on 21 September 2025. Interviews are due to be held on 29 September 2025.
