An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cancer Audit & Performance Team for a Cancer Services Improvement Manager. We require a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to take up this essential role within the Team.
This role is crucial for facilitating delivery of timely cancer diagnosis and treatment which is a core component of our Local Delivery Plan and is driven by the need to deliver against quality and access/waiting times standards set by the Scottish Government.
The Cancer Services Improvement Manager will be responsible for the Cancer Audit & Performance team which oversees Quality Performance Indicators, Cancer Waiting Times performance, MDT Coordination and the Single Pont of Contact Hub. The postholder will actively manage patient pathways, monitor performance and will actively engage with frontline clinical staff and service managers to ensure there is capacity and capability to deliver and sustain long term service improvement.
The post is also required to support delivery of the NHS Fife Cancer Framework and associated action plans. This post is integral to cancer governance and provides the strategic and operational interface, improvement in cancer services and ability to deliver national, regional and local strategy.
The ability to form effective relationships with all grades of staff and external bodies is integral to the role to ensure that information is delivered within agreed timescales and against agreed objectives.
