You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects – 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.
We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will:
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
1. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need to be self-motivated, disciplined and commercially astute with the ability to identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
2. The role will require excellent communication and customer facing skills along with working as part of a team promoting our culture and values
3. Demonstrate and maintain commercial and technical knowledge and work closely with technical staff to develop appropriate techniques and solutions for the project.
4. Effective and consistent implementation of the SCS Commercial Policy and procedures.
5. Identify and provide appropriate, timely information to support change control process.

We are looking for:
8. Degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related construction subject
9. Strong Problem Solving Can-Do Approach
10. Very Good Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
11. Preferably Experience in Design and Rail or Infrastructure projects
12. Preferably qualified to ICES or RICS accreditation and Relevant CSCS Card
